The CASOE Group, Inc. exists to develop the creative potential of youth and young adults, by creating an environment that fosters artistic excellence, embraces diversity, and encourages community action. CASOE strives to extend meaningful Arts (theater, dance music) and culture programming to under-served populations in order to inspire a robust expression of human creativity.

The DATC was founded in October 2011 by Michael Johns and Eric Swanson. with a vision to create a safe place for artists to create on and off stage and to produce works that address social justice issues such as LGBTQ rights, women's rights, socioeconomic issues, racial debates, and moral issues. We are committed to bringing works of theatre to our community that will create a conversation and help to “break the mold”

The "Detroit Rep" is Michigan's longest running, non-profit, professional theatre. In the heart of Detroit. Our mission is to produce the best theatre possible while utilizing indigenous professional artists; provide training for a professional life in theatre; play a part in our neighborhood; provide cultural enrichment and opportunities for the uninitiated and the physically, mentally, economically and socially challenged. We demonstrate the power of diversity in acting.

Take a time-travel adventure into the 16th century at the annual Michigan Renaissance Festival! Join our Queen Elizabeth in a jubilee! Inside our turreted gates, visitors enjoy the sights and sounds of a 17-acre village, complete with building reproductions of Renaissance shops, taverns and a magnificent castle. Continuous entertainment takes place on the streets and on 17 themed stages; featuring full-contact armored jousting, comedy and theater shows, music, games, and people-powered rides.
